Characters, Cast, & Crew

Nicholas Meyer Homepage: Nicholas Meyer is the man responsible for many of Star Trek's finest moments. His films stand as the best Star Trek has ever been. At Meyer's official homepage, there is biographical information and a look at the movies, books, and television projects he has been involved in over the years. Also includes a complete version of his unproduced screen adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey.   Unfortunately, it appears Meyer's page is never updated.

WilliamShatner.com: This is the official site of Trek's greatest actor and one of its best novelists as well.

Leonard Nimoy Club Home Page: Site for the official Leonard Nimoy fan club. Along with Nicholas Meyer and Harve Bennett, Leonard Nimoy helped to redefine and improve Star Trek in the film era.

The DeForest Kelley Page: A nice page for DeForest Kelley, who passed away on June 11, 1999. Includes a brief biography, a filmography and pictures.

The James Horner Fan Page: An excellent site devoted to Star Trek's greatest composer. Horner composed the brilliant soundtracks for Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan and Star Trek III: The Search For Spock, and since then his career has continued to flourish.

Chekov's Log: Be sure to check out this very entertaining and creative site focused on Pavel Chekov. Includes lots of pictures from the movies and television series. Remember, the Internet was a famous Russian "inwention."

The Official Grace Lee Whitney Fan Page: No one will ever forget Grace Lee Whitney's character of Yeoman Janice Rand from early episodes of "Star Trek." This official site contains a filmography and other facts about Grace Lee Whitney. Seven of Nine has nothing over Yeoman Rand.

Ricardo Montalban:   This is an excellent fan site for Ricardo Montalban, who portrayed Khan Noonien Singh in "Space Seed" and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

Bibi Besch Memorial Page: A classy tribute to Bibi Besch, the actress who portrayed Doctor Carol Marcus in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and who passed away in 1996.

Danny Nadel's Star Trek Guide: An informative site with many facts about all the series and movies.

Museum of the Future: Star Trek / Interviews / Games: A wide variety of information is presented in this unique site. Includes text from William Shatner's October 30, 1999 convention appearance in Germany - his first convention appearance in two years.

Star Wars: The Official Site: All right, so this one is not technically a Trek site, but I'm putting it here anyway because I visit so often.  Besides, it was the success of Star Wars in 1977 that led Paramount to resume plans for the first Trek movie, which had been shelved.  Plus, George Lucas' Industrial Light & Magic has provided beautiful special effects for six of the nine Trek films.  It is no coincidence that the three Trek films with effects problems are the same three that ILM did not work on. This site is packed with information.

Looker Home Page: This page is even less of a Trek-related site than the Star Wars site above but I'm making another special exception.  "Looker" is a rock band from my hometown and if you're ever in Virginia, you should definitely check them out.

The Internet Movie Database: A great location to find complete cast lists for the Star Trek films and most other movies.

The Letterbox And Widescreen Advocacy Page: The only way to come close to capturing the true visual splendor of the Star Trek films on your television is to see them in their full glory, as offered by the widescreen editions. This site explains why only letterbox/widescreen editions of movies allow the full vision of directors to come to your television screen. Includes examples from Star Trek and Star Wars and a very useful list of VHS videos available in the widescreen format.
